  • Sweet Speech Therapy has no physical location.

All services are offered online through teleconference anywhere in Ontario. Whether you live in Ottawa, Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Niagara, Sudbury, North Bay, Elliot Lake, or anywhere else in Ontario, we can help!

  • Our fees are competitive and set well within the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists & Audiologists (OSLA) guidelines. These vary depending on the type of service (assessment, consultation, therapy, report writing) and length of sessions. We are happy to work with you in order to determine a schedule that fits your budget!

  • We prefer to accept credit card payments; however e-transfers are also accepted. Payment is due on the day of service.

  • Private speech-language pathology services are not covered by OHIP.

However, you may be entitled to reimbursement through insurance. We suggest contacting your benefits/insurance company prior to starting sessions with us in order to confirm reimbursement details.

Additionally, you may be able to claim non-reimbursed speech-language pathology expenses as a medical expense on your tax return.

  • Absolutely! We have worked virtually with individuals of various ages, including children and adults, with great success. We include interactive activities and fun games to keep children engaged, and their progress is significant. Studies demonstrate that virtual speech and language therapy brings about similar gains when compared to in-person service.

  • If a child is too young or unable to participate in one-on-one sessions with us, sessions will take the form of parent training. This means that the speech-language pathologist will coach you while you implement strategies with your child. This hands-on model is wonderful as it allows you to learn to carry out strategies that will help your child outside of our sessions, and could lead to quicker progress!

  • A referral from another professional or doctor is not required, although some insurance companies require the referral in order to reimburse you. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company to inquire.
